Learning data:
Words/lessons, streaks, preferences.
Device & diagnostics:
App version, device/OS, basic crash/error info.
Microphone (optional features):
Only when you choose to use pronunciation; we don't access it otherwise.
2) Where your data lives
No account:
Your progress stays on your device.
With an account:
Account info and progress sync to our servers so you don't lose it.
3) How we use data
Run the app, save your progress, and improve features.
Provide support and keep the service secure.
4) What we don't do
No selling your data.
No third-party ad networks.
No precise location tracking.
No cross-app tracking.
5) Sharing
We only share with trusted service providers (hosting/analytics/crash tools) who process data for us under contract, or if required by law.
6) Your choices
Delete local data via in-app reset (if available) or by uninstalling.
Ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your account data: contact@horizonedgelabs.com.
Opt out of non-essential emails via unsubscribe.
7) Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active or until you ask us to delete it.
Local data remains on your device until you remove it.
8) Children
Not for users under 13 (or the age required in your region). If we learn we collected a child's data, we delete it.
9) Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no method is 100% secure.
10) International
Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. We protect it as described here.
11) Changes
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and notify you in-app.
